The company has grown from a small one-office operation to what it is today. It is Celcom (Pty) Ltd's aim to ensure that clients receive the best possible value they can get for their money. To this end, Celcom (Pty) Ltd will empower the dealer to provide a range of services and products as well as enlisting the help of affiliate and associate companies to ensure best possible penetration of the market.
Management Team
The company is headed up by Stefano Brachini who, as CEO oversees all aspects of the business. With a keen mind to ensuring the company stays focused and on track, Stefano has taken the company from a fledgling operation in 1994 to a company being part of a listed entity on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Never one to resist a challenge, Stefano has forged alliances in the industry that are both strong and genuine. Able to judge the market correctly has given Celcom (Pty) Ltd the edge in protecting its asset value and keeping it at the forefront of the market.
Luca Brachini is Managing Director. His character and nature has ensured that all clients are treated with the respect they deserve. While keeping an eye on all aspects of sales and procurement,
Luca has managed to gain many clients that otherwise would have purchased elsewhere. His expert technical knowledge in the accessory market has served the company since inception.
His innovations and technical direction have resulted in many of our products being redesigned for the South African market.
Harry Karpathakis acts as Operations Director. His IT experience has served the company by providing systems and supervising projects. All operational requirements are scrutinized and evaluated at all times ensuring that the company goes forward in its quest to provide better products and better services.
The rest of our management team is made of skilled, highly motivated individuals with a passion for servicing our customers. They are dedicated to providing service excellence through their daily interaction with clients and staff alike.

Our partnership with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) gives us access to highly sought after products and services. As long term partners to these OEM companies we have been approved as packaging partners for a number of them. This partnership gives Celcom (Pty) Ltd the flexibility to adapt its clients' needs. This association also Celcom (Pty) Ltd ensures that it remains at the forefront of the industry by ensuring that new and innovative products are always being launched through its client's channels.
The move to supplying "enhancements" rather than just "products" ensures it remains at the cutting edge of cellular technology.

Our history speaks for itself. Celcom (Pty) Ltd has always prided itself in being the first in many areas. Proud achievements are:
- The acquisition of the Original Accessory Packaging programs for Nokia and Motorola.
- The longest running supplier to the cellular industry.
- The first to market with innovative and specialized products.
- The appointment as direct importers of Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson accessories.
- Licenced to sell for all major OEM companies in South Africa such as Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, HTC, ZTE, LG and iMate.
- The first company to initiate and promote a specialised retail package.
- The first cellular accessory supplier to package products in-house with the acquisition of high-frequency plastic sealing machines.
Specialists in the field
Distribution - Celcom (Pty) Ltd dispatches from its central JHB warehouse. Our courier partner has a full distribution point in Durban and Cape Town with affiliates across the country to ensure speedy delivery.
Sales Representatives - Our sales representatives spread across the country call on our clients in a regular and monitored manner. There is also a redundancy in that if one representative is on leave or off ill, then another other can cover the route.
Warehousing - Our warehouse currently covers approximately 1200m² of floor space. These areas are divided into clearly demarcated areas for generic, specialized and OEM products.
Stockholding - Our stockholding is kept at an optimum level with
more emphasis on OEM products. The increased shift in trend to OEM products has resulted in us increasing our OEM stockholding and decreasing our generic stockholding.
Competitive Pricing - Celcom (Pty) Ltd offers pricing that is competitive and constant. This gives the client the ability to plan pricing for a period of time.
Constant Training - Training in conjunction with OEM and other suppliers ensures that our sales representatives and our customers are informed on all new products in the market.
Technical Assistance - Our technical assistance is valued by many installers around the country.
Merchandising - Each of our sales representatives has knowledge of merchandising principles ensuring we get maximum coverage in the retail environment. We, as a company, see merchandising as a very important aspect of business and we are constantly striving to improve our merchandising methods. This, in turn, promotes sell-through in the retail channels.
